Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. This role involves working on various construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The Construction Worker will be involved in multiple aspects of building and renovation, utilizing a range of skills from basic carpentry to heavy equipment operation.

Duties

• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
• Perform flooring installation, ensuring proper techniques and materials are used for durability and aesthetics.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
• Apply caulking in appropriate areas to ensure weatherproofing and insulation.
• Carry out door hanging tasks, including fitting hinges and ensuring proper operation.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction activities, maintaining safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with flooring installation techniques is advantageous.
• Knowledge of caulking methods and materials is beneficial.
• Proficiency as a carpenter with experience in door hanging is necessary.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively is crucial for this role.

• Must be able to obtain a pass to Ft Cavazos.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.70 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to Relocate:
