Job Summary
RNC Fleet Service is looking is looking to expand our team. Our company was founded in 2022 by former Ford dealer trained technicians with over 20 years of dealer knowledge each. We work on all domestic light duty vehicles. We primarily work on Ford, Dodge and Chevy vehicles.
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and extensive knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a variety of diesel vehicles using the latest diagnostics tools available.
Schedule will be Monday through Friday, weekends off. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (winter) 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (summer) . Salary and hourly positions are available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Conduct comprehensive maintenance across various levels to extend the lifespan of trucks.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle performance.
- Conduct repairs on HVAC systems on all domestic vehicles.
- Repair and maintain hydraulic systems in various types of light duty trucks and cars.
- Operate forklifts safely to move equipment and parts as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Skills
- Proficient in domestic light duty diesel engine repair with hands-on experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot .
- Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques especially Ford I.D.S./FDRS
- Knowledge of HVAC systems relevant to diesel and gas engine light duty vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Requirements

- Proven experience working on light-duty diesel pickups.
