Summary
RNDC is looking for a collaborative and energetic Shuttle Truck Driver to join our growing warehouse delivery team. The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for the delivery of product to specified depot locations across the network. Drives tractor and trailer with product over established route between RNDC locations. Drops product off at desired locations.
In this role, you will
- Drives Tractor and 53' trailer approximately 200 to 300 miles per shift, across 4 segmented trips
- Properly conducts a pre and post trip inspection, notating any vehicle defects
- Abides by the DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type
- Connects and disconnects multiple loads at each RNDC location
- The potential for dedicated overnight routes exists
- Ensures physical security of truck at all times
- May utilize a smartphone for interaction with hours of service (HOS) software and / or driver monitoring programs
