Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Civil / Bridge Estimator at RNGD Infrastructure in New Orleans, LA. The Estimator will be responsible for estimating costs for heavy civil and bridge construction projects in South Louisiana. Tasks include performing market research, seeking project opportunities, conducting site visits, performing quantity takeoffs, building detailed estimates, collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop accurate and successful bids.
Qualifications
- Experience in heavy civil and/or bridge construction.
- Hands on field experience preferred.
- Knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Experience with estimating software, on screen takeoff and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and work at a high pace.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
