Tire Technician Position Summary
Our Tire & Wheel / Alignment Technicians (Service Specialists) play a vital role in delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for overseeing all activities within our service shop, including performing tire installations, alignments, rotations, and inspections. Technicians ensure that shop safety guidelines are followed, maintain accurate paperwork and service records, and oversee inventory management of tools, equipment, and products. Strong attention to detail, mechanical expertise, and a commitment to efficiency are essential for success in this role.
Compensation
Make between $ 33,000 - 42,000 w/ bonus
Responsibilities:
- Wheel / Tire / Alignment Installations
- Manage product and supply orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Receive, check-in, and verify delivered merchandise for accuracy.
- Process and handle “Return to Vendor” merchandise as needed.
- Clean and maintain returned products to ensure they meet resale standards.
- Ensure and enforce shop safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work
- environment.
- Keep all equipment and tools cleaned and operating at peak performance
- Maintaining cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas
Requirements:
- Three years previous experience in Mounting, Balancing, Tire / Wheel Installation.
- Knowledge of alignment machines
- Knowledge of tire and balancing machines
- Must be a high-energy, self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Three years wheel alignment experience
- Valid state driver license with a clean driving history
- Pass drug screen and background check
- Professional Proficiency in English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
