What are the responsibilities and job description for the NM-RN-ED Varied -6400-RMC position at RNStaff?
75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS -Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in large ED. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS certifications required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or client. Traveler must pass the BCA testing during first week of assignment. Travelersthat do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
EMR: EPIC experience preferred.
SHIFTS: This is a 12 hour varied shift position 1900 or 0700 start time ). Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call 1-12 hour shifts/ 4 weeks, weekends minimum 3 shifts/ 4 weeks and holidays at least one required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
ORIENTATION: The first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
SCRUBS: Required and not provided by the facility.
