Paraprofessional and Behavioral Aide Opportunities

About the Role
As a Behavioral Class Aid or Behavioral Technician, you will provide full-time or substitute support to students in a school setting. Your expertise in implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) strategies will help students achieve their behavioral goals.
Previous experience supporting students with special needs and working in a 1:1 or 1:multiple capacity is highly beneficial. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys.
Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral support to children in a school-setting.
- Calm, clear, and concise communication with both children and adults.
- Able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
- Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds).
- Strong grasp of the English language.
Requirements
- At a minimum, candidates must have a Paraprofessional Endorsement from IBSE.
- Experience in childcare and/or ABA.
- Associates degree preferred, High School Diploma Required.
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Strong assessment skills.
- Passion for supporting students in the learning process.
- Inclination to work well in a team environment.
