Pediatric School Nurse 1:1 LPN - 16794

Ro Health is currently hiring qualified LPNs to work in public schools in the Tucson region.

Position Details:

• Specialty: School Health, Pediatrics, Special Education
• Locations available include: Tucson, AZ
• Positions Available: Per-Diem, Full-time
• Days: Monday through Friday, no holidays or weekends
• Target Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities may include:

• Following MD Orders
• Ride the school bus with student
• Assisting student with medical needs
• Assist in providing a safe environment for the client
• Comply with all documentation and record-keeping requirements
• Diabetic Management, triage, med pass
• Respond to health emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
• Liaise with parents regarding student health concerns and communicate health-related information.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years nursing experience required
• Active, Arizona nursing license
• Valid TB Test (within 1 year)
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPR/BLS (No online courses accepted, Hyrbid is OK)
• Passion for excellent pediatric patient care!
• Physical Demands: This position requires employees to use their hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Employees are frequently required to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The position may require lifting, bending, and crouching. The employee will occasionally lift/move up to 40 pounds.
