Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures following physician orders and protocols.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality images.
- Maintain radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and self.
- Process and review radiographic images for diagnostic accuracy.
- Maintain radiology equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of imaging procedures.
- Communicate with healthcare providers regarding patient imaging results.
- Follow infection control and security protocols within the correctional facility.
Qualifications:
- Active California Radiologic Technologist License (in good standing).
- At least 1 year of radiology experience.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to pass a strict background check.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
