This position is within a bargaining unit and the individual that holds this position is subject to the terms and conditions of the existing collective bargaining agreement.

Duties
- Conducts title record research.
- Verifies ROW for other departments and outside contacts.
- Ensures ROW Sidwell maps are up to date.
- Manages and facilitates ROW dedications, and Road Commissions excess property program and excess property sales.
- Verifies petitions for special assessment district projects and ROW abandonments.
- Interprets legal descriptions and prepares miscellaneous legal documents.
- Receives and responds to DCS reports and FOIA requests.
- Prepares condemnation packet and works with the legal department throughout the condemnation process.
- Records ROW conveyances at the Register of Deed's office.
- Must perform duties in a professional and courteous manner to promote a positive image of the Road Commission for Oakland County.
- Requires a daily schedule that supports RCOC hours of operation.
- Regular and predictable onsite job attendance is an essential function of this position.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, with knowledge in math sufficient to perform the duties described above is required.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience related to the duties described above is preferred.
- Experience in Microsoft Office is required. Experience with ArcGIS, Property Gateway, and Super Index is preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of Michigan Drivers License.
- The ideal/preferred candidate will have an interest in real estate/ROW, possess strong analytical problem-solving skills, and have the ability to learn how to read/interpret engineering plans and programs/databases related to this position.
