What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate position at Road Equipment Parts Center?

This is an Entry-Level opportunity starting at $18.00 per hour. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm. For the right individual, this role will lead to growth within the company with future opportunities for advancement!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional and respectful to all customers
- Pull, pack, and load customer truck and trailer parts orders
- Load and unload parts to and from the vehicles
- Deliver orders to customers within a 50 mile radius, when needed
- Operate a 16-foot box truck or a sprinter van
- Assist management in all assigned tasks
- Learn and understand the heavy-duty parts aftermarket
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (GED) – Required.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, lift, and move up to 75lbs individually and up to 100lbs with the help of other associates.
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card (company paid).
- Chauffeur's license (preferred).
- Candidates must be able to pass a background check, drug test and/or MVR check. Please note: we do not test for any substances that are legal within the state of MI since this is not a CDL federally regulated position.
