In this role you will play an integral part in optimizing the online shopping experience primarily focusing on the increase of conversion and removing barriers to purchase. You will leverage customer behavior data, A/B testing, and performance analytics to help drive improvements across the digital shopping journey. As a Conversion Specialist you will also get the opportunity to lead all conversion-related initiatives.About Us:• Road Runner Sports is proud to have been recognized as the 2023 Footwear Retailer of the Year by Footwear Magazine.• Founded in a San Diego garage over 40 years ago.• Road Runner Sports has 50 stores across the country, and we are growing!• Our Values, Mission & Purpose (we call them Our 6 Pillars) are Be Different, Bring the WOW, Build Something Great Together, Get Moving, Stay Active, and Live Healthy.What you will get to do as the Design & Merchandising Manager:• Increase conversion rate and remove barriers to purchase• Leverage customer behavior through A/B testing and performance analytics • Analyze customer behavior, sales trends, and engagement metrics to uncover opportunities for improvement • Develop and execute A/B testing roadmaps, tracking performance, and iterating on results • Conduct A/B testing, usability assessments, and personalization strategies to enhance the customer journey• Own and optimize key conversion metrics, identify friction points, and implement data-driven solutions• Improve check-out, cart, and payment experiences to reduce abandonment and increase transactions• Provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams to refine landing pages, PDP’s, and search experiences • Ensure content consistency, messaging, and design elements support conversion goals• Own project management for all conversion-related initiatives, ensuring timely execution and cross-functional collaboration • Manage creative requests, working with design and content teams to implement site updates that enhance conversion• Coordinate UX, Development, and Marketing Teams to prioritize and implement conversion optimizations• Maintain project timelines, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on testing, updates, and rollout plans Qualifications:• 4-7 years of experience in eCommerce, merchandising, digital marketing, or conversion optimization • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience)• Preferred experience with customer insight platforms (e.g., Quantum Metrics, Power Reviews)• Preferred background in UX, site usability, and digital merchandising best practices
