Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Furniture Installer & Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and navigate various routes effectively. The Delivery Driver/ Installer will operate 26 ft box trucks, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including 26 ft box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling & securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, making adjustments as necessary for efficient delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a required to drive.
- Previous experience assembling furniture or in a similar role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (50 pounds plus) and engage in physical activity throughout the workday.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while on the route.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including potential overtime during peak times.
