Your Role
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing direct care for individuals receiving detoxification and treatment services. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure the best care for each client. Your contributions will directly impact the recovery journey of individuals seeking to heal and regain control of their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the clinical team to provide effective and personalized care for clients.
- Monitor and ensure consistent screening and documentation for potential detox clients.
- Perform regular checks of clients’ rooms and belongings, ensuring accurate inventory.
- Provide direct care to monitor behavioral needs, symptoms, and compliance with treatment plans.
- Assist with medication management, including conducting COWs/CIWAs and taking vital signs as needed.
- Assist with drug testing, UAs, and ensure cleanliness of rooms and workspaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of client clothing and bedding.
- Support inventory and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment.
- If certified, assist with providing group sessions and submit necessary documentation in EMR (Kipu).
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Completion of RADT (Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician) certification (Required).
- Experience in a residential treatment or substance abuse treatment setting is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond to clients' behavioral and medical needs in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
