Job Summary
We are seeking an out-going Customer Sales Support Professional for our Meridian location. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting all walk-in customers, all Point of Sales Transactions, answering phones, and keeping the sales floor neat, tidy, and well stocked in addition to helping to grow the business through cold calls, emails, and internet sales leads.
Key Responsibilities
· Inside Sales: Help existing customers in person or on the phone, complete weekly customer satisfaction calls, and help find new customers through cold calls, emails, and internet sales leads.
- Product Knowledge: Build familiarity with merchandise to better assist customers.
- Record Financial Transactions: Accurately record daily financial transactions, including cash, check, credit card, and charge account sales, along with customer checks received by mail.
- Purchasing/Receiving: Create purchase orders as needed and record items as received when delivered.
- Communication: Collaborate with other departments including Outside Sales, Finance, and Production, to ensure smooth operations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with other tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations and quality customer service.
- Provide support for Outside Sales and the Sales and Service Manager (“Sales”) by facilitating customer meetings through targeted phone calls and emails as directed by sales. Sales shall provide targeted customers for contact information to be acquired by the customer sales support individual. Schedule sales appointments effectively, accounting for location and travel time. Provide support in developing and distributing sales and promotional material to customers via mail, email, and or open house events as directed by Sales.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and communication with both customers and co-workers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and QuickBooks Desktop or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Dust and make sure sales floor is clean and presentable
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
- Experience with Monday (CRM)
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
