What are the responsibilities and job description for the Autism Aide / Behavior Technician position at Roads to Recovery?
Roads to Recovery is hiring a Behavior Technician / Autism Aide. Hired position will support a student working on academic and behavior goals in a center setting. Must have at least 48 semester or 72 quarter credit hours of college or be a current Registered Behavior Technician to be considered for this position. Training on individual student program goals provided.
Student Openings (take one, some or all four)
1. Tuesday & Thursday from 8:15am - 12:15pm (8 hours weekly)
2. Tuesday & Thursdays from 12:45pm - 4:45pm (8 hours weekly)
Take one or both student openings! Additional student openings (increase of hours) option in the future! We can also include you on our subbing list Monday through Friday mornings from 8:15am - 12:15pm and Monday through Friday afternoons 12:45pm - 4:45pm, whenever not on a student team.
Responsibilities:
- Collect data about student(s) behaviors through direct observation and interaction.
- Assist the Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) as directed with program goals and plans.
- Work 1:1 with student after 4 - 10 hours of direct training on each student per caseload
- Communicate behavioral intervention results with BCBAs.
- Prepare materials for session and clean up materials after session.
- Complete session notes and maintain documentations.
Qualifications:
- Must have 48 semester or 72 college credits OR be a current Registered Behavior Technician
- Be able to lift 30-50 pounds, move often, be on your feet, and have active play with student!
- Must pass a BCI & FBI background check

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
