Position Summary:
The Traffic Safety Worker will be responsible for traveling to various RoadSafe locations and project sites, driving company vehicles, and assisting the team and operations with daily tasks.
Essential Functions and Required Skills:
The Traffic Safety Worker will be responsible for traveling to various RoadSafe locations and project sites, driving company vehicles, and assisting the team and operations with daily tasks.
Essential Functions and Required Skills:
- Travel on state and local roadways to RoadSafe locations across different states.
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- CDL Class B license is required for operating a Boom Lift.
- CDL Class A preferred.
- Utilize mechanical aptitude and experience with vehicle, equipment, and diesel mechanics.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, sitting, and bending for extended periods.
- Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment to complete daily responsibilities.
Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current and valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to sit, stand, and drive for prolonged periods in various weather conditions.
- Competency in receiving, understanding, and communicating detailed instructions.
- Successful completion of a background check and DOT drug screening.
- 2-5 years of driving experience.
- HAZMAT certification preferred but not required.
- Basic literacy skills to read, write, and complete paperwork, follow road signs, and understand federal motor carrier safety regulations.
- Willingness to work primarily outdoors and travel regularly.
