Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare necessary parts for production from raw materials as needed.
- Weld and fabricate standard traffic control products to meet quality specifications.
- Assist in monthly inventory counts to support accurate inventory control.
- Inspect the quality of raw materials before welding; report any discrepancies to the Operations Manager.
- Provide support in construction and assembly for larger projects as required.
- FOLLOW ALL SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS TO ENSURE A SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT.
- ADHERE TO ALL COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES TO MAINTAIN COMPLIANCE AND CONSISTENCY.
- PERFORM OTHER WORK-RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED TO SUPPORT TEAM OBJECTIVES AND OPERATIONAL NEEDS.
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience in a production or fabrication environment.
- MUST PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.
- MUST SUCCESSFULLY PASS A DRUG TEST AND MEET FEDERAL DOT REQUIREMENTS.
- WEAR PROPER SAFETY EQUIPMENT (WORK BOOTS WITH SAFETY TOE, HARD HAT, SAFETY GLASSES, AND SAFETY VEST).
- PROFICIENT IN MIG WELDING TECHNIQUES.
- BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF READING AND INTERPRETING BLUEPRINTS AND WELDING SYMBOLS.
- ABILITY TO OPERATE WELDING EQUIPMENT, HAND TOOLS, AND POWER TOOLS SAFELY.
- STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL WITH A COMMITMENT TO PRODUCING HIGH-QUALITY WORK.
- BASIC MATH SKILLS FOR MEASURING AND CALCULATING MATERIAL DIMENSIONS.
- PHYSICAL ABILITY TO LIFT AND CARRY MATERIALS WEIGHING UP TO 50 POUNDS.
- ABILITY TO WORK EFFECTIVELY IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT AND FOLLOW SAFETY PROTOCOLS.
