Join us today and let's create a brighter, safer 'Life on the Road' together!Our Traffic Control Laborers, out of Lincoln, NE, play a vital role in ensuring the safety of roadways and construction zones surrounding our country’s railroad infrastructure. You'll be responsible for setting up, managing, and taking down lane closures on state highways and other roadways. You'll also redirect traffic for workers or survey crews, either independently or as part of a dedicated team.
The starting pay is $16.00 per hour. Our laborers average up to 60 hours per week. This position requires travel 100% of the time.

What You'll Do:
- Set up and manage temporary work zones using signs, cones, and barrels.
- Safely manage traffic flow using stop/slow paddles and radio communication to protect workers and drivers alike.
- Drive company vehicles to job sites, load and unload equipment (up to 50 lbs), and ensure the workspace is clean and organized.
- Operate specialized equipment, including arrow boards, variable message boards, and TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies.
What We Need from You:
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Willingness to travel extensively and be on a rotating on-call schedule.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs for extended periods and follow safety procedures for cargo transport with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Good knowledge of state and local roadways with experience operating delivery vehicles of various sizes.
- Ability to stand for long periods for flagging duties.
- Previous experience in traffic control setups is a plus; ATSSA certification as a Worksite Traffic Technician or Supervisor is highly preferred.
- Mechanical background/experience is essential.
