We are looking for a creative and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team.
The Chef will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining the highest culinary standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design new menu items, keeping in line with the restaurant’s theme and vision
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain relationships with vendors
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment
- Control and manage food costs, labor, and waste
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment
Requirements:
- Proven culinary experience, preferably as a Chef
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
