Skilled in interpreting data and making data-driven decisions. Skilled in various software packages used for enrollment and retention. Decision making and problem-solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to perform complex and varied duties. Ability to work independently and in a team setting to perform tasks. Ability to make the college an integral part of the community through community/area service programs. Ability to develop relationships with community/area groups. Supports the objectives, goals, and mission of the college.

Job Description

Developing goals for the division and creating strategies to meet these goals. Using data to make data-informed decisions and recommendations. Assisting in the development of the schedule and monitoring enrollments, teaching loads, overloads, and class size. Supporting and participating in the accreditation process. Assisting with NCCCS program compliance, including the program audit. Serving as the instructional point-of-contact in the absence of the Executive Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. Evaluating programs and services and using results for equipment needs for the division and recommending appropriate action. Working with Program Coordinators to ensure timely submission of materials and assessments. Working with Program Coordinators to ensure assessment findings are used to strengthen and improve curricula and instruction and documenting appropriately. Evaluating the Program Coordinators annually and ensuring that full-time and part-time faculty evaluations are complete and compliant with the evaluation process. Supporting the Executive Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs in updating all required manuals and resources for faculty. Planning and organizing professional development upon request. Assisting in duties assigned by the Executive Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs.


Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree from in any discipline taught in the academic affairs division from an accredited institution. Minimum of three years of teaching experience. Administrative and/or supervisory experience with oversight in fiscal accountability, program management and benchmark obtainment.
