Munich Re Specialty Group North America (MRSG N.A.) is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as we grow. As part of Munich Re Group, we are a unique organization providing expertise in specialty and marine lines of insurance as well as surety risks and customs bonds with in-house claims solutions.

We are seeking a full time Summer Intern – Marine Underwriting to join the Roanoke Insurance Group division as a hybrid employee in our Miami, FL or Schaumburg, IL office reporting to the VP, Cargo & Liabilities Underwriting.

Job Profile

• Will learn to understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service
• Rotate through our team of underwriters and support their book of business as needed
• Accepts designated, business-focus projects as assigned
• Engages with our field offices as it pertains to the task at hand
• Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems

The rate anticipated for this position is $18/hour.
