We are seeking a rock star Medical Assistant to join our Allergy Department. If you enjoy providing hands-on medical care, have a strong work ethic, are interested in learning new skills, and like working with a great team, then this position is right for you!
Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant will progressively learn and perform all aspects of our allergy department to include. There's a lot to learn in this role, but our experienced team with teach you all that you need.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate immunotherapy injections
- Conduct new patient start education classes
- Conduct allergy skin testing
- Mix treatment sets for patients
We are seeking a professional with:
- A solid medical assisting work history
- MA, LPN, RN degrees will be considered and compensation will be determined based upon experience and degree level
- A patient-focused work ethic
- Leadership and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated, successful organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- The ability to effectively and proactively communicate, both verbally and in writing, in support of appropriately informing patients, staff, and surgeons timely
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with team members, external representatives, distributors, vendors, etc.
- The desire and ability to learn new technology including but not limited to EMR and scheduling software
- The experience and skills to work in a medical office
