Job Summary
ROAR is seeking skilled and enthusiastic bartenders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Some shifts you may work as a banquet bartender for $8/hr plus a tip pool. There may be an opportunity to work shifts at Miller's on Robinhood for those interested!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and manage payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Assist in catering events or banquets as needed, providing exceptional service during special occasions.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and responsibly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or food service is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Understanding of food safety practices is essential.
- A team player who can work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members.
References required.
