Job Overview
Roar is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our premises. As a Door Person, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, ensuring that all individuals entering the facility are authorized and that the environment remains secure. Your presence will help deter unauthorized access and provide assistance as needed. This is a Thursday-Saturday part time position.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the building, making sure to check IDs.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises.
- Provide assistance to guests, answering questions, and directing them as necessary.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing first aid kit when required.
- Collaborate with management to address any security concerns.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while managing conflicts effectively.
- Document incidents and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
Skills
- Strong background in security is preferred.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
