Location: Candidate must be able to work onsite in Glenwood Springs, Colorado (remote work flexibility)

Pay Range: Hiring/Starting pay range is $85,600 - $120,000/annually, based on experience.

Position Purpose:

The ERP Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing, maintaining, and supporting our ERP system to ensure its optimal performance, security, and reliability. Responsibilities include providing technical support to users, aiding in system upgrades and enhancements, and managing the ERP product strategy. This role requires identifying the why, what, and when of the ERP product to meet evolving business needs. Additionally, the ERP Administrator effectively communicates the product's business value to the leadership team and ensures all stakeholders understand the purpose behind changes or releases.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functions of this position and are not intended to be all-inclusive.

ERP System Management:

  • Oversee daily ERP system operations, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.
  • Continuously monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize operations.
  • Implement new technologies and processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability as they are introduced throughout the ERP product's lifecycle.

System Maintenance and Upgrades:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with vendors and IT staff to test and deploy new features and updates.
  • Ensure minimal downtime and disruption during system changes.
  • Align the ERP system with business needs and enhance operational efficiency as guided by the organization's strategic initiatives."

Data Management:

  • The ERP Admin is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and security of ERP system data. This includes performing regular data backups and recovery operations, developing and executing data migration strategies, and managing data operations within the ERP system.
  • Additionally, the ERP Admin will oversee data interactions with external SaaS products, handle data imports and exports, ensure data centralization and accessibility, and help organizations utilize collected data to gain business intelligence and insights into customer experiences and behavior.

Integration and Customization:

  • Work with IT and other departments to integrate the ERP system with other business applications.
  • Customize ERP functionalities to meet business needs and improve workflows.
  • Develop and implement system reports and dashboards.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain ERP system security measures as well as developing ERP security strategies and upgrading system(s) routinely to align with industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Manage user access and permissions.

Project Management:

  • Participate in ERP related projects, including system implementations and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively.

Human Capital Management (HCM):

  • Administer and support the HCM module within the ERP system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of HR related data, such as payroll, benefits, and employee records.
  • Collaborate with HR to optimize and enhance HCM functionalities.
  • Provide technical assistance to HR staff for HCM related tasks and issues.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement IT solutions that enhance transportation operations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on system status.

User Support and Training:

  • Provide technical support and training to ERP system users, addressing and resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain user guides and documentation, assess organizational training needs through job analysis and consultations with managers, and create individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs and support the career development of leadership and staff.

Other Duties:

  • Assist with special projects as directed by IT management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with system integration, scripting, and automation tools.
  • Proficiency in network security and compliance standards.
  • Security Expertise: Understanding cybersecurity principles, best practices, and tools to secure systems and networks.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Team Player: Capacity to work collaboratively with other IT professionals and various departments within the organization.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to maintain positive, effective working relationships and provide both internal and external exemplary customer service.
  • Competent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of and ability to utilize Microsoft Office Software
  • Nice to have - completion of Workday training modules in areas such as Human Resources, Payroll, or Talent Management, showcasing proficiency in Workday system operations.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma required, a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • In depth knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong understanding of database management, SQL, and data migration processes.
  • 3-5 years' experience as an ERP Administrator, or similar position, required.

Working Conditions:

This position typically operates in an office environment. May require occasional evening or weekend work to address urgent ERP issues. Must be able to lift and move computer equipment as necessary. Must be able to sit for extended periods while working on computer tasks.

Salary : $85,600 - $120,000
