Location : Candidate must be able to work onsite in Carbondale, Colorado
Pay Range : Starting pay range is $17.00 $21.00 / hourly, based on experience.
Position Summary
Examines, sorts and counts paper money and coins.
Essential Job Duties
- Sorts and counts paper money using automatic currency-counting machine, including sorting bills according to denomination and inserting bills into slots of machine to be automatically counted.
- Examines money to detect counterfeit bills and removes counterfeit, mutilated, and worn bills.
- Rubber bands money to be validated by Revenue Clerk II.
- Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Director of Finance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Solid dexterous ability and ability to physically perform required duties.
- Solid ability to communicate with others and understand and comply with instructions.
Education
Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math at a seventh (7th) grade level.
Experience
- Experience not required; training is provided.
- Must possess a valid Colorado driver's license at all times.
