Position Summary :
As the Controller, you will oversee financial records, develop financial models and strategies, and ensure accurate, timely reporting. Working closely with the business owners, the CFO, and an outsourced accounting team, you’ll supervise internal accounting staff to drive financial planning, forecasting, and insightful analysis.
Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Planning & Policy : Develop and implement financial plans, policies, and procedures.
- Modeling & Strategy : Create financial models and strategies for short- and long-term performance.
- Data Analysis : Interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Reporting & Forecasting : Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Account Reconciliation : Manage and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts, including AR / AP.
- Vendor & Banking Relations : Maintain strong relationships with banks and vendors.
- Performance Metrics : Establish and track key financial indicators.
- Risk Management : Assess financial risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
- Systems Implementation : Contribute to the implementation of finance and construction-related systems.
- Team Leadership : Supervise accounting staff and collaborate with an award-winning team , ensuring alignment with business owners.
