What you will be doing
We’re looking for a full-time machine operator to operate our pouch machine. The ideal candidate has some mechanical experience and technical ability to set up and run a machine and make adjustments to ensure packaging meets quality standards and specifications. In addition to making great looking flexible packaging, an operator works with a collaborative team that supports product development and innovation, troubleshooting ways to improve our product, equipment, and processes.
· Operate flexible packaging / pouching equipment.
· Troubleshoot and adjust equipment, as needed.
· Measure and inspect bags to meet quality standards.
· Communicate with team members.
· Complete job paperwork.
· Support team members through continuous improvement efforts.

- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical & troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and be a supportive team member.

- The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Pay
– starting at $20.00 per hour ($20.00 - $23.63) plus shift differential for 2nd ($1.25) & 3rd shift ($2.00)
