Hi-Grade Materials has an immediate opening for Experienced Heavy Equipment Operators.
The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate a Loader and perform the following functions:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - other duties may be assigned:
- Operate heavy equipment of various types used in mining operations, such as Cat 992 loader.
- Load and unload company and commercial trucks; remove overburden and waste material; transport and dump waste materials at approved sites.
-Maintain quarry organized.
-Transport production blocks, waste material and equipment as required.
-Properly follow company and MSHA safety procedures. Bring equipment/safety problems to the attention of the mining supervisor or Safety Director.
-Follow daily procedures and protocols as required by quarry supervisor.
-Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to supervisor; clean equipment.
This position requires a valid California driver's license and at least two years in the operation of heavy construction equipment - QUARRY operating experience a plus.
Previous MSHA training is a plus.
