Job Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the sales team. They work with sales representatives, sales managers, and other sales team members to ensure that the sales process runs smoothly. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assisting Account Managers with quotes
- Assisting walk-in and phone customers with pricing for project requirements
- Monitoring customer accounts and generating sales leads.
- Heavy phone experience
- Communicating with the management team regarding bids
- Communicating with customers to obtain information about items for projects or current projects.
- Maintaining records of all bids entered coordinating all aspects of the Bid tracking.
- Ensuring that all bids are entered accurately, including updating bids.
Qualifications:
- Must follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Computer skills mandatory
- Heavy phone experience
- Great customer service and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in steel or sales is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
