Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. As a commercial/residential electrician, the successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles, be able to read blueprints, and possess a working knowledge of power tools and hand tools.

Duties:

- Install and repair electrical systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage systems, in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Use various hand tools and power tools, such as ammeters and voltmeters, to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems and identify any issues.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including builders and carpenters, to ensure the safe and efficient completion of projects.
- Work at heights, in cramped spaces, and in extreme weather conditions, as required by the job.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed and ensure that all electrical systems are properly tested and certified.

Experience:

- Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in a related field, with a focus on electrical system installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Experience working on construction sites and in commercial settings.
- Knowledge of electrical principles and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
- Proficiency in the use of power tools and hand tools.
- Physical ability to perform tasks at heights, in cramped spaces, and in extreme weather conditions.
