We’re seeking a Project and Crew Leader to oversee operations, guide our team, and ensure project excellence.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll manage projects and lead crews with skill and efficiency. Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting morning crew meetings to establish daily work plans.
- Performing site visits to monitor operations, uphold standards, and confirm resource availability.
- Developing client relationships to secure new projects, including occasional school-related work.
- Preparing and reviewing bids to ensure precision and competitiveness.
- Managing project schedules and providing on-site leadership to meet deadlines.
- Collecting daily truck logs, training crew members, and stepping in to work alongside the crew when necessary.
- Strengthening the team by mentoring leads to train new hires and resolve challenges.
- Overseeing tool maintenance, coordinating repairs, and approving equipment purchases.
- Maintaining material inventories to support uninterrupted project progress.
- Reviewing job details—timelines, specifications, and assignments—prior to project start.
- Acting as the primary client contact, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Identifying bid or proposal discrepancies and collaborating with sales for corrections.
Who You Are:
You’re an accomplished leader with a strong construction background. We’re looking for:
- 3 years managing crews or projects, preferably in foundation work or related fields.
- Proficiency in scheduling, bidding, and tools such as Excel or industry-standard software.
- Ability to seamlessly handle site visits, team coordination, and administrative duties.
- Excellent communication skills to inspire crews and engage clients.
- Practical experience in training teams or working hands-on in the field.
- A strategic mindset for resolving issues, from equipment failures to project delays.
