SUMMARY
Under general supervision, this position is part of the Community Education department’s administrative team, reports to the Executive Director of Community Education, and collaborates closely with Community Education Program Directors, and staff and instructors to ensure the department provides high-level, timely, and engaging communication to all stakeholders using a variety of methods.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training and Experience Guidelines
High School Diploma AND three (3) years professional experience, or the completion of 60 semester college credits (required) in an area related to position assignment; AND two (2) years of professional experience working with community engagement and data collection; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by Human Resources.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
A valid Minnesota State Driver’s License may be required. First Aid, CPR, and AED training is required within one year of hire. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training may be required within one year of hire, based on assignment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a classroom and a general office environment, with moderate physical requirements; requires occasionally lifting such articles as file boxes or heavier materials with help from others and/or lifting and carrying light objects frequently. Jobs in this category may require walking or standing to a significant degree, long periods of working with computers, and working within the community. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
