What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Orientation Specialist position at Roberson RV Center?
Roberson RV Center is seeking an Orientation Specialist for our RV sales department. This position will be responsible for demonstrating operation and helping to familiarize new RV owners, it's features and functionality at time of delivery. **Wage to be discussed in interview - will vary depending upon experience"
Job Details:
- Ensure a thorough and professional demonstration of all RV features and operation
- Inform Service and Sales Departments of delivery progress
- Perform quality inspection of unit and report to Sales Department any problems with damage or malfunctioning features prior to delivery
- Report to Sales and Finance Managers of any delays in scheduled delivery prior to actual delivery day
- Ensure all paperwork, keys, owner's manual(s) and warranties if applicable are ready and in place at time of delivery
- Review and ensure "owed to customer" forms are filled out and authorized by the sales department
- Be available for a spot delivery if necessary
Job Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be organized, detailed and have the ability to provide good follow up
- Must be able to communicate delivery details with sales manager and sales representative to ensure smooth customer delivery
- Tolerance for change and willingness to adapt as needed
- Ability to adhere to and follow company policy and procedure
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Forklift certification preferred - will require certification if not already completed at time of hire
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, stand for extended periods of time as needed
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, or move up to 50 lbs with help of assistive devices
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to work weekends
