Job Description :
As a growing company, Robert A. Bothman Construction is looking for a Construction Site Supervisor to lead various aspects of construction projects, including Sport Field Construction, Site and Civil operations, Structural Concrete Placement, and Underground Utility Installation. This position involves supervising and coordinating the efforts of both in-house and subcontractor teams to ensure the success of designated projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Develop and enforce project site safety plans; conduct regular onsite safety meetings.
- Assess the performance of trades personnel and facilitate on-site training as needed.
- Coordinate field activities with Project Management and proactively address any issues or delays.
- Communicate project equipment needs with the General Superintendent and Project Manager.
- Prepare and provide required reports, including weekly job reports and safety meeting reviews.
- Assist in creating and maintaining the master project schedule alongside the Project Manager.
- Manage the scheduling of in-house labor and equipment resources.
- Oversee materials orders and delivery schedules for jobsite requirements.
- Participate in company, job site, and training meetings to stay informed and engaged.
- Review and interpret job-site plans, reporting any discrepancies and recommending changes.
- Provide clear plans and specifications to trades personnel and liaise with owners for project completions and inspections.
- Conduct inspections of work sites to verify compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
- Analyze labor and project reports to keep the project within budget.
- Communicate any scheduling changes promptly to field staff.
- Ensure trade tools are maintained and available for use on the job.
- Maintain communication with scheduling personnel regarding job location and updates.
- Assist in the maintenance of company equipment and report any misuse.
Qualifications :
All candidates must possess a valid CA driver's license (or have the ability to obtain one before starting) and maintain a clean driving record. Willingness to work at various job site locations is essential.
