Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Staging Visual Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, trends, and retail aesthetics. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging furniture displays that inspire customers and enhance their shopping experience. You will work closely with the principal to develop and execute merchandising strategies that drive sales and highlight our furniture staging assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Display Design & Implementation:
  Develop and execute visually captivating furniture displays in-homes, ensuring they align with trends, buyer profiles and the overall esthetic of the property.

• Trend Awareness:
  Stay updated on the latest interior design trends and furniture styles to ensure displays are on-trend, appealing to our target customers, and represent the brand’s identity.

• Space Planning:
  Utilize space effectively within the space, ensuring products are displayed for optimal accessibility, flow, and impact, while maintaining safety and operational standards.

• Collaborative Planning:
  Work closely with real estate agents, design team, and the staging staff to plan and implement visual strategies that align with sales activities.

• Stock Management:
  Ensure all furniture display are well-stocked, organized, and maintained. Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies and requirements.

• Customer Experience:
  Design layouts that enhance customer navigation, encourage exploration, and drive engagement with the property on display.

• Photography & Promotion:
  Take photos of vignettes for marketing materials, social media posts, and promotions.

• Maintain Visual Standards:
  Ensure all visual displays are consistently aligned with the company’s brand standards, guidelines, and aesthetics.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Retail Management, or a related field.

• Experience:
  Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably within the furniture or home décor industry.

• Skills:

  • Strong creativity and artistic ability with a keen eye for design and detail.
  • Proficient in space planning and layout design.
  • Knowledge of current interior design trends and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with retail software, digital merchandising tools, or CAD software is a plus.

• Physical Requirements:
  Ability to lift and move furniture and displays, as well as stand or walk for extended periods during the day.
