Private beauty school looking for an experienced, organized Financial Aid professional to join our team at our campus, as Financial Aid Administrator.
should be proficient in Title IV Administration, awarding, packaging, and Compliance, with experience in accounts receivables, spreadsheets, and cost analysis. Prior experience in Federal Financial aid is preferred, not required.
Experience in NACCAS Accreditation is a plus, but not required.
Summary of job duties:
Ensuring that all student files are audited and packaged in timely manner, according to Federal Student Aid regulations, as well as other guidelines from our accreditation body and state licensing regulatory body.
Daily responsibilities:
- Compliance review of new student files, ISIRS, and financial aid packages
- Awarding Financial aid to student accounts & Certifying loans.
- Tuition invoicing & accounts receivables.
- Compliance audits and aiding in the annual federal audit processes
- Weekly banking and preparation of financial reports
- Default Management Preventio
Skills Required:
- Experience with Title IV Student Financial Aid & clock hour programs
- Experience in management of 1 or more staff
- Ability to meet deadlines and goals
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team-player, attentive to detail, responsible
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Proficient with computers including Microsoft office suite
