Description
Move and clean vehicles as necessary on the lot; safely test drive vehicles following service and prior to release to the customer; deliver and/or pick up (by driving) vehicles to and from various locations.
Essential Duties
• Safely deliver and/or pick up to and from various locations as directed
• Perform test drives on repaired vehicles prior to release to the customer
• Maintain neat, orderly vehicle lot, moving trucks/buses as directed
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles as needed
• Start vehicles daily and reports any problems or concerns to manager
• Keep vehicles fueled
• Perform work with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor and appearance
• Follow all Company safety policies and procedures, and protect Company assets
Marginal Duties
• Other tasks as assigned
• May occasionally perform light maintenance on vehicles as needed, i.e., replace windshield wiper blades, repair or change tires, replenish fluids etc.
• May need to ensure required forms/stickers have been completed/are properly displayed
Requirements
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Unexpired DOT medical card
Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of experience driving large trucks/buses
Other
• 25 years of age (for insurance purposes)
• Flexibility with start/stop times
