What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Charge Bookkeeper position at Robert Half Recruiting?
Robert Half is currently sourcing for a Full Charge Bookkeeper out of Construction to join our client's team in Brooklyn, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage general ledger.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including regular bill payments and invoicing.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and AIA Billings.
- Prepare financial statements including profit-and-loss, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.
- Coordinate with the team to complete annual audits.
- Prepare tax documents as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper out of construction.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software and Excel using VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage large amounts of data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
