Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Information Systems Security Manager to enhance our credit union’s information security posture. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding our information assets and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while collaborating with various teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Information Security and Compliance : Oversee risk management for information security, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information owned or processed by the credit union.
- Serve as the primary owner of information assurance activities, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
- Engage with organizational leaders to ensure consistent policy application related to cyber and information security.
- Provide regular reports to the Executive Team and Board of Directors regarding the Information Security Program and ongoing audits.
- Monitor program data, user access, and potential security breaches, implementing necessary controls and adherence to standards.
- Ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and regularly tested.
- Collaborate with the IT department on risk review and mitigation strategies.
- Advise on security tools to strengthen APGFCU’s defenses.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees, particularly during onboarding.
- Perform quarterly vulnerability assessments and review vendor security documentation to ensure compliance with security controls.
- Work cross-functionally with IT, Security, and Compliance to develop and maintain comprehensive information security protocols.
