Job Title: Experienced Accountant – Property Management Support South Los Angeles, CAPosition Type: Full-Time, Negotiable SalaryOverview: Client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accountant to provide critical support to our property management efforts. This role will primarily focus on overseeing financial operations related to our diverse portfolio of properties, including low-income residential units with subsidies. The ideal candidate will have experience with various financing programs such as TCAC, LIHTC, HYD, CALHFA, HACLA, LAHD, as well as residential, commercial, industrial, and retail properties.Key Responsibilities:Provide accounting support for a portfolio of 1000 low-income residential units with subsidies, as well as commercial, industrial, and retail properties.Maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with relevant government programs (TCAC, LIHTC, HYD, CALHFA, HACLA, LAHD).Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for both residential and commercial properties.Prepare and submit compliance reports to funding agencies and regulatory bodies.Manage rent rolls, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and audits.Coordinate with property managers and other stakeholders to address financial discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.Stay current with changes in tax laws and government regulations impacting property management and affordable housing.Assist with annual audits, and tax filings, and liaise with external auditors as needed.Provide general accounting support for both existing properties and new developments.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
