We are offering an opportunity for a proficient Accountant to become a part of our team. In this role, the Accountant will be tasked with handling a variety of tasks, including managing customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and processing customer applications. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: • Efficiently handle customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy throughout the process.• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and precise.• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner.• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required.• Regularly update and maintain the General Ledger.• Prepare and present Financial Statements as needed.• Familiarity with Public Schools and their accounting procedures is needed.• Generate accurate Financial Reporting for internal and external use.• Utilize Accounting Software Systems effectively to complete tasks.• Prepare and post Journal Entries to the General Ledger.
