Accountant

Salary: $28.00 to $32.00 hourly

Description

We are offering a 4 month term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in the manufacturing industry, based in Monrovia, California. As an Accountant, you will be primarily involved with the meticulous organization and management of financial records, invoice and audit requests, along with effective communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage audit request lists and deliverables.
• Exhibit detailed attention while pulling invoice backup and matching it with delivery receipts.
• Execute research on variance analyses.
• Efficiently handle the selection backup process.
• Engage in regular communication with auditors and multiple stakeholders within the organization.
• Demonstrate proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations.
• Apply auditing skills to maintain financial accuracy.
• Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
• Utilize SAP knowledge for efficient extraction of backup.
• Employ strong Excel skills, including Pivots and LOOKUPS, for data management.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Accounting field, preferably within the Manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations is mandatory
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations is critical
• Experience in Auditing procedures is required
• Demonstrated ability in Account Reconciliation is essential
