We are searching for a meticulous Accounting Analyst in ADA, Michigan, in the insurance sector. This role involves processing financial transactions, maintaining precise financial records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also oversee customer accounts and take necessary actions.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process daily accounts receivable from clients, including checks and ACHs
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies through client reconciliation
- Generate and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Import, sort, and reconcile data into the company database
- Handle invoice creation and dispatching to clients
- Manage the creation and transmission of payments to agents and vendors
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering phone inquiries
- Generate new reports as needed to support business operations
- Provide support for other tasks assigned by the Accounting Department.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounting Analyst role or similar position.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
- Practical knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.
- Demonstrated ability in Billing procedures.
- Experience in Cash Applications is necessary.
- Skilled in Cash Collections and Commercial Collections.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Excel VBA.
- Familiarity with Oracle software is a plus.
- Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SAP software is beneficial.
