Accounting Analyst

Salary: $52000.00 to $60000.00 yearly

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Analyst located in Alliance, OH. In this role, you will be focusing on the consolidation, analysis, and application of accounting techniques to financial transactions. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and keeping track of utility usage
• Assisting the accounting team during the month-end close process to guarantee accurate and timely results
• Maintenance of the fixed asset system
• Performing clerical and routine accounting tasks efficiently
• Responding to inquiries and liaising with other departments or vendors to solve a variety of problems
• Tracking and accounting for capital expenditures
• Analyzing and monitoring leases and rentals
• Reviewing plant purchase order requests and collaborating with the Purchasing department to rectify abnormalities
• Ensuring the accuracy and policy compliance of expense reimbursement requests
• Conducting ad-hoc reporting/analysis and special projects as needed.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting analyst role or a similar position.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is required.
• Familiarity with budget processes and fixed assets is essential.
• Ability to perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Experience with expense reimbursements is necessary.
• Knowledge of the purchase order process is required.
• Experience with month-end close procedures is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Oracle or similar financial software is a must.
