We are on the search for a meticulous Accounting Assistant to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia. In this role, you will be tasked with managing customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. Furthermore, your role will include overseeing customer accounts and taking necessary actions.
Responsibilities :
- Carry out precise data entry tasks
- Efficiently process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Handle cash and check deposits preparation
- Facilitate information gathering for new vendors or customers to finalize enrollment
- Assist the AP / AR team with cash applications, payment processing, and revenue cycle management
- Monitor and sort incoming mail and organize it accordingly
- Conduct matching of invoices to purchase orders or vouchers
- Utilize accounting software systems like NetSuite and Microsoft Access for various accounting functions.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proficient in Microsoft Access
- Familiarity with NetSuite
- Ability to process mail efficiently
- Experience in maintaining vendor files
- Strong data entry skills
- Experience in check deposit procedures
- Knowledge in payment processing methods
