We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in the Housing Association industry, based in Kingston, Massachusetts. This role will be primarily focused on supporting our accounting functions, handling sensitive information, and liaising with our customer database.
Responsibilities :
- Ensuring the precise and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
- Maintaining customer credit records with utmost accuracy.
- Addressing and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate actions when necessary.
- Handling confidential information and matching it with the relevant data in our database.
- Assisting in routine tasks such as support for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Using Accounting Software Systems such as ADP - Financial Services, CaseWare, and Concur for various tasks.
- Conducting regular audits to maintain financial accuracy.
- Assisting in the preparation and completion of bank reconciliations.
- Utilizing ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business process management.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
- Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is highly desirable.
- Experience with CaseWare is a plus.
- Applicants should be comfortable using Concur.
- Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is essential.
- Ability to perform a wide range of accounting functions is necessary.
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.
- Applicants should have a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Previous auditing experience is highly appreciated.
- Candidates with a background in bank reconciliations will be given preference.
