We are in need of a diligent Accounting Clerk to join our team, situated in DANBURY, Connecticut. As an Accounting Clerk, you will primarily focus on handling account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry tasks. This role is a long-term contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Oversee account reconciliation tasks, ensuring all financial data is accurate.
• Perform billing tasks, preparing and sending out invoices as required.
• Carry out data entry tasks, updating and maintaining customer records.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, analyze and report on financial data.
• Manage invoice processing, ensuring all invoices are accurately recorded and processed.
• Monitor customer accounts, taking necessary action as needed.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation processes and procedures
• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Capability to manage Billing duties effectively and efficiently
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in Invoice Processing, and ability to handle high volumes of invoices
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups
