We are actively seeking an Accounting Clerk for our operations based in SEGUIN, Texas, United States. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be tasked with a variety of accounting-related duties within the construction industry. Your responsibilities will include maintaining complete and accurate records, processing invoices and other accounts payable or receivable tasks, and resolving any issues or discrepancies in customer accounts.Responsibilities: • Accurately compiling and verifying the completeness of source documents such as invoices, vouchers, and purchase orders• Handling email, mail, and fax communications efficiently• Processing invoices, expense reports, check requests, and other accounts payable or receivable tasks• Keying in invoices for accounts and applying codes to vendor invoices• Posting details of business transactions to the appropriate ledgers and journals, and summing up accounts• Responding to customer inquiries regarding invoice payments, concerns, issues, or account discrepancies• Updating customer account information as needed, and processing payments in compliance with regulations• Preparing financial reports for management to ensure the accuracy of accounting records• Using skills such as Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and Journal Entries to carry out responsibilities effectively and efficiently• Building and fostering effective business relationships with customers, vendors, and other departments within and across the organization.
